Soon after the launch I found myself thinking about my previously abandoned idea of a more English-like (Great Vowel Shift) phonology for the neography, and happened upon an idea that I thought would work - so for roughly a week and a half I pursued it, created something I was quite pleased with, redid the odt document to contain information about both "new" modes, edited every piece of English based content to be in English Mode, and finally spent several days thinking of a new name for it that would be pronounced the same in both modes.
"Liëth" originally meant "physical light" (Li- light, -eth thing) as in light that you could touch and manipulate, implying that the letters themselves had magical properties.
"Lumellis" means "Writing of the Stars" (Lume- write, el- star, -l abbreviated definitive article, -is of) and takes advantage of English spelling for the singular M and doubled L (which is great because the actual transcription is "Lumeëllis"), brings to mind both "illuminate" and "loom" from the first syllable, while the last parts may bring to mind Latin genitive.
Aside from the rather large implementation of the new writing mode, I decided to spruce up the song and book pages to be more in line with the Stem Tetrapod page, as well as imbedding the Youtube videos themselves.
So, that was a lot of unexpected work which explains the lack of new content.
My plan is to post a few songs or book excerpts weekly, while working on shrine pages (I have two in mind) and other things beyond that. So here's to new pages and a working Desktop/Mobile Toggle feature $m
